REVIEWS
Mary set the scene to make everything welcoming and inviting. She began instructing right away, was encouraging, and made us feel safe to jump right in. I learned so many new techniques, and about mediums I had never used, or even heard of before. It was such a great experience.

Lem is the absolute best. I followed the instructions she sent and got there just fine but the park where it took place was super busy yesterday so I can see how it was easy for othere to get lost. We used chalk pastels and she helped me explore drawing fall leaves with them.

Originally from Iowa, I am an artist of over 20 years. I've painted murals, and hosted some small workshops. My strong suit is drawing and painting, especially portraits. I enjoy the creative process and sometimes having the mindset of a “serious artist” can make it hard to let go and relax. I have a big interest in now Art can help with mental health and overall wellness. Things like Neurographic drawing are a great way to allow yourself to enjoy the creative process without the worry of the end result of the project itself. I believe everyone can be an artist, you just have to give yourself permission to try.

I loved this photograph from John Strachan photography and finally got around to painting it in acrylic. I tried to be quite loose with the painting as there was so much detail. in the end I thought the sky looked a bit bare so with the help of Chat GPT I added seagulls to the photo and was then able to paint them into my art work. This painting will be heading for the Aberdeen art show the end of August for sale.

I am Tracey, a self-taught artist from Plymouth, UK, I have been developing my coloured pencil techniques for the past year . My aim is always to capture not only the likeness of an animal but also the personality and spirit that make them so special to the people who love them.In this piece, Colin is shown resting amongst a vibrant meadow of wildflowers, his striking green eyes drawing the viewer in. The detailed fur work, delicate whiskers, and colourful floral surroundings were all carefull

This painting was inspired by the journey we experience from pain to healing. The tears symbolize release, the bold colors represent the pain, while the vibrant colors reflect hope, renewal, and transformation. Through this piece, I wanted to express that even in our deepest struggles, healing is possible. It is a reminder that brokenness can be transformed into strength, beauty, and new life.
